traitortoheaven waits to be assed enough to write a proper ~dramatic bio~ for him like she does her other Symphonia AUs:
*He was still told that he should never have been born.
*He was trained by Kratos in the event that he would be needed to preform his duties as chosen. However, Zelos was not aware that his teacher was affiliated with Cruxis at the time.
*That being said, he was Chosen. However, two years prior to the present, it was decided that Seles would be better suited after all for whatever reason. Zelos was never really told why. He was also never told why he was never taken out--only that he was only permitted to visit his sister on very rare occasion.
*Seles and Zelos are still not close. They both realize that there's a chance Seles will have to go on a Journey of Regeneration and have distanced themselves from each other as a result (though neither realize that's the other one's reasoning.) Due to Seles being in the Abbey prior to replacing Zelos, their relationship was already strained. However, they do care for each other just as they do in canon.
*Upon being relieved of his position, Zelos became a mercenary, as he found himself with a lot less money than he was used to.
*He hired by Yuan Ka-Fai and, after a careful eye was placed on him, told of the Renegades and the truth about Cruxis--and Kratos. Because of this, Zelos is very bitter toward Kratos. The man was the closest thing to a father figure he ever knew, and the fact that it was probably all just a lie further drove the idea into Zelos' head that his life is just one big joke. He has become slightly obsessed with being better than Kratosand will fully welcome any and all nasty remarks Lloyd may make about him--people who were backstabbed by Kratos have to stick together.
*Event-wise, Zelos is attempting to help Colette regain her soul.
